A new Walmart report shows the retailer is set to start stocking up on a slew of products that promise to save you money and boost your home’s efficiency.
The report, released Monday, also shows that Walmart is set for an uptick in sales during the holiday season.
The retailer expects to see sales up 8 percent this year, compared with last year, with a slight increase in sales for the third straight year.
Walmart, the world’s largest retailer, has been trying to expand its offerings in the wake of a nationwide economic downturn that has resulted in a sharp drop in sales and a steep drop in profits.
In a new video for the company, executive director of global supply chain innovation, Robyn Kohn, said the company is making strides to provide its customers with more options and flexibility.
“It’s a big year for us,” Kohn said.
“We’re looking forward to bringing in more of our customers and getting them the products they want.
Walmart will have a much better assortment of products in stores this year.”
The report said that, by 2025, Walmart will be bringing back all of its products to stores, including those from the past.
It also revealed that Walmart will begin offering new products in 2019, and that it plans to introduce products from China and other countries as well.
